Will Dushyant Chautala form an alliance with BJP?
Former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that JJP will be the most important party in this election. He said that the Jannayak Janata Party will not form an alliance with the BJP for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. In an exclusive interview with ANI on Sunday, Dushyant Chautala said that I can assure you on record that I will not join the BJP.
Said this on the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections
When asked about his defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Dushyant Chautala said that I do not take it as a crisis now. What happened is done. I see it as an opportunity now. He said that even last time our party was a kingmaker and in the coming days JJP will be the most important political party in the state.
Chautala said that perhaps JJP could not understand the sentiments of the farmers and hence it had to pay the price during the Lok Sabha elections.
After the last assembly elections in Haryana, BJP formed the government with the support of 10 MLAs of JJP. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the JJP got only 0.87 per cent vote share while none of its candidates could win a single seat in the state.
