They used to create fake IDs on WhatsApp to commit fraud, police caught the criminals
Cyber criminals keep inventing new ways to commit fraud. Under this, Mewat Police has arrested four fraudsters from Satpura culvert under anti-virus campaign. Many fraudsters have been arrested so far. Police received information that some youths near Satpura are cheating people online. After which all were arrested in the action.
Cyber thugs of Mewat cheat people by using different methods. Mewat police has launched an antivirus campaign to catch such thugs, despite this many cases of fraud are still coming to light. During interrogation of four accused Shakeel, Aslam alias Zahid, Rahul Khan and Junaid, who were caught under the antivirus campaign being run by Rajasthan police, it has come to light that they have been cheated of lakhs of rupees.
Jurhera police of Rajasthan has registered a case against the accused and started an in-depth investigation. Eight mobile phones and 11 fake SIM cards have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Using these SIM cards, cyber thugs used to make fake IDs on WhatsApp and lure people with the promise of jobs, work from home and online earnings and make them victims of fraud.
Mewat police has arrested dozens of accused so far and sent them behind the bars. Police says that the action is still going on. According to the information, Jurhera police of Deeg police station area of Rajasthan received information that some youths are cheating innocent people online in the forest near Satpura culvert.
These youths cheat innocent people by sending fake text messages to deposit money, by creating fake ID in the name of JJ Communication and charging delivery charge for gifting expensive Apple items and by creating fake ID on social media, putting the photo of an unknown person on the ID and contacting his acquaintances by telling them that there is an emergency of money and get money transferred from the victims.
