Relief news for youth amidst elections
Keeping in mind the Haryana Assembly elections, the Model Code of Conduct is in force in the state (Haryana Assembly Election 2024). In such a situation, there is a relief news for the youth. The election code of conduct will not apply to the recruitments issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and Haryana Public Service Commission. Recruitments will continue. At the same time, there will be no ban on promotion (Haryana Bharti and Promotion News).
There is relief news for the youth applying for first and second class posts to third and fourth class posts in Haryana.
The election code of conduct will not be binding on the recruitments already issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). Not only will the recruitments continue, but promotions of already serving personnel will also be possible.
Positions can be filled despite the code of conduct
Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Aggarwal said in a conversation with the media on Tuesday that as per the rules issued by the Election Commission, the vacant posts for which recruitment is already going on can be filled by HSSC and HPSC despite the election code of conduct.
Advertisements for recruitment can also be issued. Congress had complained about this, to which a reply has been sent.
The Chief Election Officer admitted that he has not received any information from the government about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting held after the announcement of the assembly elections.
As far as the transfer of IAS and HCS and other officers is concerned, the government has made these transfers only after the approval of the Election Commission. Apart from this, transfer orders of IPS officers were issued before the announcement of elections.
