These days, kidney failure and heart problems are being reported in pets in Haryana. The concerns of veterinarians have increased regarding this. Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad said that a dialysis unit will soon be set up in PAMC in Panchkula. Along with this, a veterinary eye hospital will also be opened.

These days, many problems of kidney failure and heart problems of pet animals are coming up in Panchkula. Regarding this, Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad said that a dialysis unit will soon be set up in PAMC in Panchkula for the betterment of veterinary medicine. Along with this, pet animals will be treated in double shift.

Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad said that with the aim of promoting veterinary service, a dialysis unit will be set up in Pet Animal Medical Center (PAMC) in Panchkula. Also, in view of the increasing cases of pet animals, double shift will also be implemented there.

Chief Secretary Prasad is also the President of Pet Animal Health Society (PAHS) Panchkula. In the seventh meeting of the Governing Council of the Society, the Chief Secretary said that at present 10-15 cases of kidney failure are coming here every month. There are many cases of heart failure as well. Irregular diet and lack of exercise are the reasons for this.

Budget of Rs 12 lakh approved for dialysis unit

There is no dialysis facility for pet animals in the Tricity. In such a situation, the new unit will fill this gap in veterinary services. The Council has approved a budget of Rs 12 lakh for the establishment of a dialysis unit.
