Hanged in university hostel

A B.Tech student committed suicide in Gurugram, Haryana. Her body was found hanging from a noose in the hostel of MBL Raman Munjal University. The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Bhumika Gupta, a resident of Alwar, Rajasthan. On Monday night, she had attended a friend's birthday party. In the middle of it, she came to her room and hanged herself. As soon as the information was received, the Bilaspur police station reached the spot, they took the body in custody and sent it to the hospital for postmortem.
Bhumika's maternal uncle has alleged that the condition in which she was found hanging makes one suspect that it is not suicide but murder. Her legs were bent up to 4 inches and the soles of her feet were touching the ground. He has demanded an impartial investigation. On the other hand, on the demand of the family members, the police now got the postmortem of the student's body done by a board of doctors. The police say that now further action will be taken only after the postmortem report.
What did the room partner say?
Bhumika's room partner said that she was absolutely fine at the birthday party at night. She was behaving normally. Nothing happened in the party that would make Bhumika go to her room and commit suicide. After this statement of the room partner, the doubt deepens whether it is suicide or something else?

What did the family members of the deceased say?

Bhumika's maternal uncle Brijesh Gupta told that the college people called Bhumika's mother at 3:30 in the morning. He told that Bhumika is unwell, she is very serious. You come soon. After this, Bhumika's mother called my son Rahul and said that either you come or send your father. Bhumika is unwell. When we came here, the warden told that at 2 o'clock we broke the door of the room and found Bhumika hanging.

What is the whole matter?

Investigating officer of Bilaspur police station Bijendra told that on Monday night it was the birthday of a friend of Bhumika, a third year student in the hostel. At 10 o'clock she went to celebrate the birthday with her room partner Shambhavi, a resident of Bihar. Bhumika returned to her room at around 12 o'clock before the birthday party ended.

The police further said that at 1.30 in the night, a ribbon was needed for the birthday party. When the ribbon was not found in the college's gift shop, Bhumika's room partner went to her room to get the ribbon, but the room was found locked from inside. When the door was not opened for a long time, the room partner informed the hostel warden about it.

The body was found hanging from the latch
The hostel warden called the plumber to the spot and somehow broke the latch of the door and entered inside. Inside, Bhumika was found hanging from a noose on the latch on the wall. As soon as the information was received, other students of the hostel also reached there, after which the police was informed about the incident.

The investigating officer said that at around 4 in the morning, the police received information about the student committing suicide. After which the police team reached the spot and got the body down from the noose. Also, Bhumika's parents were also called. The reason for the suicide has not been ascertained yet. The police is investigating all aspects of the case.
