Great news for temporary employees in Haryana! Deputy government brings ordinance related to jobs
The Governor has approved the Haryana Contractual Employee Security of Service Ordinance 2024 of the Haryana Government. With this, one lakh 20 thousand raw employees of the state have got job security. The salary of raw employees will also increase twice a year. Now no raw employee will lose his job in the state.
The state government on Wednesday fulfilled its promise of giving job security to one lakh 20 thousand raw employees engaged on the basis of Kaushal Rozgar Nigam and Outsourcing Policy Part-1 and Part-2 in Haryana.
On the eve of Independence Day, the state government has brought an ordinance in this regard. The Governor has approved the Haryana Contractual Employee Security of Service Ordinance 2024.
The CM said - there is no difference between words and deeds
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that there is no difference between the words and deeds of our government. All the announcements that the state government is making are being implemented immediately on the ground.
On the lines of the guest teachers of the state, the services of these temporary employees working in various departments, boards-corporations and autonomous institutions have been ensured till 58 years.
Temporary employees will not lose their jobs
This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held last Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and an ordinance was brought yesterday, according to which now no temporary employee will lose his job.
In the ordinance, the jobs of all temporary employees who have completed five years of service till August 15 will be ensured till the age of 58 years and they will be given the same basic salary as permanent employees.
The policy brought by the Haryana government does not include employees taking a salary of more than Rs 50 thousand. The government plans to make separate provisions to make them permanent.
Contractual employees will get these facilities
The honorarium of contractual employees will be increased every year on January 1 and July 1. After one year of service, annual increment, death-cum-retirement gratuity and all benefits under the Maternity Act will be available.
Under the PM-Jan Arogya Yojana-Chirayu Extension Scheme, families of contractual employees will also be given the benefit of health facilities. Employees who have been serving for five years will get the benefit of the policy. Such employees will get five percent more salary than the minimum pay scale.
Similarly, employees working for eight years will get 10 percent more salary than the minimum pay scale. For more years of service, 15 percent more salary will be given than the minimum pay scale.
