In Mann Ki Baat, he mentioned the women of Rohtak in Haryana. He said that now women are so empowered that they are earning lakhs of rupees and running their homes. Now women are not weak but have become self-reliant. Women are earning on the basis of their talent. They are also becoming an example in the whole world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the countrymen through Mann Ki Baat. This time, Rohtak in Haryana was also mentioned in his address. The PM praised the women associated with the handloom industry of Rohtak.

Colors changed the future of women of Haryana: PM

PM Modi also talked about colors during his address. He said that now let's talk about colors, such colors which have filled the lives of more than two hundred and fifty women of Rohtak district of Haryana with the colors of prosperity. These women associated with the handloom industry earlier used to make a living by running small shops and doing small jobs.

While addressing, the PM said that now these women have joined 'Unnati Self Help Group' and got training in block printing and dyeing. These women who have become self-reliant are today earning lakhs of rupees by spreading colors on clothes.
