After the basement accident in Delhi, Gurugram Municipal Corporation has started taking strict action against coaching centers. On Saturday, the corporation's enforcement team sealed three coaching centers operating in basements in Krishna Colony, Khandsa Road and Old DLF.
Dainik Jagran had published a news titled 'Building code at stake, people's lives in danger' in its July 30 issue. After which the Municipal Corporation has now started taking action against such coaching centers. Let us tell you that three students died due to waterlogging in a coaching center operating in the basement in Delhi.
Order was received to seal the coaching centres operating in basements
Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Gurugram Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar directed the Joint Commissioners of the four zones Pradeep Kumar, Dr. Naresh Kumar, Suman Bhankhar and Akhilesh Yadav to start a special campaign and inspect the coaching centres operating in basements in the corporation area and take action to seal them if any violation of rules is found.

Under the leadership of Assistant Engineer Sanjog Sharma, enforcement teams of Zone-1 and Zone-2 started the action on Saturday. Under this, teams visited Krishna Colony, Sector 4 and 7, Sector 7 Extension, around the bus stand, Adarsh Nagar, Railway Road, Old Delhi Road, Sector-14, Old DLF etc. and inspected the areas.
