On the last day of his visit, Congress leader and leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi while talking to journalists at the Washington Press Club of America said that the fight for democracy in India is completely Indian and no outsider has anything to do with it. This is our country and we will take care of it. Rahul said that we will ensure that democracy works properly in the country.

He said that we have to understand that India's democracy is more important than other democracies of the world due to its population and size. Whenever there will be talk of democracy in the world, then India's democracy will have a special place. Rahul Gandhi further said that we have to understand that India's democracy is like an asset not only for India but for the whole world.

When Rahul was asked that some experts say that America should put more pressure on Prime Minister Modi, while some say that external pressure will have no effect on Modi, what is your opinion about how America should maintain relations with India, he said that it is not my job to advise America about how it should maintain relations with India.

Earlier, in his address at Georgetown University, Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP and the Modi government and said that something has changed in India after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. People said that they are no longer afraid. It is interesting to me that the BJP and PM Modi spread so much fear but everything disappeared within seconds.
