As soon as the Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 were announced, there has been a spate of resignations in JJP. Five JJP MLAs have resigned from the party and now Kaithal leader Palaram Saini has said goodbye to the party.
Palamaram Saini, leader of Jannayak Janata Party from Kaithal has resigned from the party. He said that I contested the Lok Sabha elections from JJP party. Today I have resigned from the party. My fellow leaders put pressure on me. JJP District President Randeep Kaul did not support the party and me during the elections. The next step will be taken after consulting with my colleagues and workers.
A day after Kaithal's Guhla MLA Ishwar Singh left the party, JJP has suffered another setback. Now JJP Lok Sabha candidate and State Vice President of Urban Local Bodies Department Pala Ram Saini has also left JJP.
Let us tell you that Pala Ram Saini had joined JJP by leaving BJP. Now once again Pala Ram Saini can join BJP. Pala Ram has announced to leave the party in a press conference held at a private hotel on Sunday. Pala Ram Saini said that he had contested the Lok Sabha elections. Today he has resigned from the party.
Because now his fellow leaders have put pressure on him. Pala Ram Saini accused JJP District President Randeep Kaul and District President of Urban Local Bodies Department Anil Chaudhary and said that both these leaders did not support the party and him during the elections.
Pala Ram Saini said that the party had given him only Rs 6.5 lakh in the Lok Sabha elections. Whereas many party leaders had accused him of taking a lot of money from the party. Let us tell you that earlier Pala Ram Saini's wife Kamlesh Saini contested the Kaithal Municipal Council elections in 2022 and got about six thousand votes.
Left BJP in 2021, joined JJP at the end of 2022
Pala Ram Saini joined JJP about two years ago on 21 July 2022, while earlier he had left BJP in the year 2021. At the same time, under the municipal elections held in June 2022, his wife Pushpa Saini contested for the post of president from Kaithal Municipal Council.
The party became the kingmaker with 10 MLAs in 2019
One and a half months before the assembly elections, there has been a spate of resignations of MLAs in Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). MLA Anoop Dhanak from Uklana, Devendra Babli from Tohana, Ishwar Singh from Guhla Cheeka and Ramkaran Kala from Shahbad have resigned. Among these, Dhanak and Babli have also been ministers in the BJP-JJP coalition government for five years. Two JJP MLAs Ram Niwas Surjakheda and Jogi Ram Sihag are already in touch with BJP.
After leaving the party, the four MLAs did not disclose which party they are joining, but there is a discussion that three MLAs may join Congress and one may join BJP. As soon as JJP separated from BJP this year, a big crisis arose in front of it. Even before the Lok Sabha elections, the party MLAs had rebelled. These MLAs had even stopped attending the party meetings and press conferences. Since then, speculations were being made that these MLAs who have adopted a rebellious attitude can leave the party anytime.
Two MLAs had campaigned in favor of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections
MLAs Jogi Ram Sihag and Ram Niwas have openly come in support of BJP. They had openly campaigned in favor of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. Although these people have not yet resigned from the party, but the party does not invite them to programs. There is a discussion that BJP can give tickets to both the rebel MLAs of JJP.
