Big action on Pooja Khedkar
The central government has taken major action against former IAS officer Pooja Khedkar. According to sources, the government has dismissed Pooja Khedkar with immediate effect on Saturday. Earlier, the Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC had also registered a case of fraud while cancelling the candidature of IAS.
On Friday, Pooja Khedkar had told the Delhi High Court that she is ready to get her disability checked at AIIMS. Pooja Khedkar has filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the Delhi High Court. This argument was given by Khedkar on the allegation of Delhi Police that her disability certificate may be fake. Khedkar is accused of fraud as well as taking advantage of Other Backward Classes (OBC) and disability quota in the wrong way.
Pooja Khedkar is a former IAS officer of 2023 batch. After passing the UPSC exam, Pooja Khedkar became the Assistant Collector of Pune in the middle of training. As soon as she took charge, she came into the limelight when she demanded a separate chamber, luxury car and house. Apart from this, the controversy grew over his moving around with a red-blue light and a Maharashtra government sticker on his private car. The matter was complained to the Chief Secretary. Later, he was transferred from Khedkar to Washim.
