Big action by Haryana Congress, 7 leaders expelled from the party before municipal elections

As per the order of Haryana Pradesh Congress chief, all seven leaders have been expelled from the party for 6 years with immediate effect.
In the order issued by Haryana Pradesh Congress chief Uday Bhan, it was said that during the corporation election process, they have been found involved in anti-party activities in recent times. At the same time, after receiving the report related to this, all seven leaders are expelled from the party for the next six years with immediate effect.
These leaders were expelled from the party
Those expelled by the party include former District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents of Karnal, Tarlochan Singh and Ashok Khurana, party leaders Pradeep Chaudhary and Madhu Chaudhary in Yamunanagar, senior leader Ram Niwas Rara from Hisar, party leaders Harvinder and Ram Kishan Sain in Gurugram.
Rara and Tarlochan Singh joined BJP
Ram Niwas Rara and former DCC president Tarlochan Singh had recently joined the ruling BJP. Rara lost the assembly elections held last year, while Tarlochan Singh was defeated by former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar from the Karnal assembly seat in the 2019 assembly elections. Tarlochan Singh lost to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in the by-election held last year.
Municipal corporation elections will be held in two phases
Municipal corporation elections in Haryana are to be held in two phases. The first phase of elections will be held on March 2 and the second phase on March 9. While the results will come on March 12. Out of the 8 municipal corporations in Haryana, elections will be held on March 2 for 7, Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Hisar, Karnal, Rohtak and Yamunanagar. While elections for Panipat Municipal Corporation will be held on March 9. Along with this, elections will also be held for 33 municipal bodies, four municipal councils and 21 city committees of the state.
