Assistant Professors' panel sought from Haryana for the second time, can apply till August 11

Due to non-receipt of deputation panel from Punjab Government, Chandigarh Administration has sought a panel of Assistant Professors from Haryana for the second time. There has been no recruitment in the Higher Education Department, Chandigarh for 11 years. Due to regular recruitment and lack of professors, there is a shortage of seats in the college. In the year 2023, the Education Department had applied to UPSC for recruitment to 221 posts.

To fill the shortage of Assistant Professors in four government colleges, a deputation panel has been sought from Haryana for the second time. After Punjab refused to send a panel of Assistant Professors, a panel has been sought from Haryana for the second time.

For the first time, a panel of 21 Assistant Professors was sought from Haryana in the last week of June. 56 applications were received from Haryana for 21 seats. The applications were shortlisted and 24 were called for interview. Out of these, 14 were selected for appointment, but appointment has not been given yet. This is how the selection process will be

For the second time, the Chandigarh administration has again sought a panel of 18 assistant professors from Haryana, for which online application can be made till August 11.

Only those assistant professors who have been serving in Haryana for more than five years can apply for deputation. After the application process, the administration will shortlist them and call them for interview
