After creating history in the Paris Olympics, Indian athletes have returned to India. On the occasion of 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met all the players and hosted them at the PM House. During this, Manu Bhaker, Indian hockey team and other players were present. 

Manu gave a pistol as a gift to the Prime Minister. The hockey team including PR Sreejesh and captain Harmanpreet Singh gave him a jersey and stick. 

During this, PM Modi welcomed all the players. He praised the medal-winning athletes, while motivating the rest of the players to perform well in the future.

The Indian hockey team created history by winning medals in two consecutive Olympics in Paris. When the entire team, including India's great goalkeeper PR Sreejesh and captain Harmanpreet Singh, met him, they gave him a signed jersey as a gift. Apart from this, he also gifted a hockey stick.

Manu Bhaker explained the intricacies of the pistol

Manu Bhaker created history by winning two bronze medals in shooting at the Paris Olympics. She became the first Indian woman to win a medal in this sport. 

Not only this, she also achieved the feat of winning two medals in the same edition of the Olympics. During this, she was seen explaining the nuances of this to PM Modi.

Sarbjot Singh, who won bronze in the mixed event along with Manu, and Swapnil Kusale, who won bronze in the 50m 3 positions event of shooting, also met and interacted with the PM. 

Apart from this, young wrestler and the only medal winner of wrestling in Paris, Aman Sehrawat also met PM Modi. In the end, PM Modi interacted with all the players and learned about their experiences.

Neeraj Chopra and PV Sindhu were not present

Other players of the Indian team also met PM Modi. However, India's star athlete and silver medal winner Neeraj Chopra was not present during this time. Apart from him, PV Sindhu was also not present to meet the PM.
