The Indian shooting team has left for Paris to participate in the Paris Paralympics. A 10-member shooting team, including rifle shooters Avni Lekhara, Mona Agarwal and pistol shooter Manish Narwal, will challenge in the shooting events to be held in Sheterau near Paris from August 30. Narwal expressed confidence that the Indian shooting team will cross the medal tally at the Tokyo Paralympics in the upcoming Paris Games and said on Saturday that the team is in good shape after rigorous practice.

India won two gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the Tokyo Paralympics. Narwal, who won the gold medal in 50m pistol (SH1) in Tokyo, said before the team's departure, "Our preparations are good and we are looking forward to giving our best in Paris." Our aim is to surpass our previous performance and bring home more medals.
