PM-Aasha Scheme
Many schemes have been started during the tenure of Modi government to benefit the farmers. But there is one scheme which not only benefits the farmers but also the common man. Now the government has made a plan to continue this scheme.
The Government of India has announced to continue one of its schemes, which not only benefits the country's food providers i.e. farmers. But also saves the common man of the country. The government has also approved a budget of Rs 35,000 crore for this. This is a big decision of the government taken keeping in mind the interests of the common man and farmers before the elections.
Here we are talking about PM-Aasha Scheme, which was started by the government to provide better prices to the farmers for their produce and to protect the common man from fluctuations in the price of essential commodities. Now the government will continue this scheme and will spend Rs 35,000 crore on it.
A cabinet meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this meeting, approval was given to continue the schemes of 'Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan' (PM-Asha), a scheme to provide good prices to farmers for their produce and to control the price fluctuations of essential commodities for the common man. The government statement said that the total financial expenditure on this scheme till 2025-26 during the 15th Finance Commission cycle would be Rs 35,000 crore.
