There is an atmosphere of anger across the country since the brutality with the lady doctor in the government hospital of Kolkata. This incident has shocked not only the common people but also the film stars. Celebs have raised the issue of safety of women in the country. 

Recently, Alia Bhatt also raised her voice by sharing a post on this matter. The actress said: How atrocities against women are not decreasing even after the Nirbhaya incident. 

Along with this, a shocking data was also shared. The data of the National Crime Records Bureau Report 2022 gave information about the crimes against girls. Meanwhile, Preity Zinta, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Genelia D'Souza, Kriti Sanon and Hrithik Roshan have expressed disappointment in this matter.

Recently Genelia D'Souza tweeted on X and wrote: The monsters should be hanged. My soul trembled after reading what that girl had to go through. A woman, a lifeguard who was on duty, had to face this in the seminar hall. My heart goes out to her family. I can't even imagine how she must have faced this.

Hrithik Roshan also tweeted about the Kolkata incident. He wrote: Yes, we need to develop into a society where everyone feels equally safe. But it will take decades. Hopefully this will be possible only by empowering our sons and daughters. The next generations will be better. 

We will get there. But what will happen in between? To stop this, punishment will have to be given, which is so harsh that such criminals get scared. This is what we should do. Maybe?

I stand with the victim's family in demanding justice for their daughter. I stand with all the doctors who were attacked last night.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Preity Zinta also wrote about the Kolkata rape: We are the fifth largest economy in the world. In this election, 66 percent voting took place by men and women combined. It is also being said that in the next election, women will leave men behind in terms of voting.

He wrote: It hurts the heart when the face of any rapist is hidden and then he is arrested. If someone has committed the crime of rape then the name and face should be shown to the media. When women lost their dignity, no one cared. You will not know until it happens to you.
