'I am retiring', Aamir Khan decides to retire from acting, hands over responsibility to Junaid?

Aamir Khan, who is called Mr. Perfectionist, did not work on any other project after the flop of Lal Singh Chaddha. However, he is in the news for Sitare Zameen Par, on which work has already started. Meanwhile, his son Junaid has revealed his retirement plan. Junaid told what Aamir had told him during the making of Maharaj.

Aamir Khan's son Junaid's debut film 'Maharaj' was released in June. However, it was an OTT debut. Aamir Khan is yet to come to theaters. This film released on OTT has made his theatrical release easier. Junaid's acting was highly praised.

Junaid praised for 'Maharaj'

Recently Aamir Khan organized a party on the success of the film Maharaj. People loved Junaid's performance in the role of journalist and social reformer Karsandas Mulji. Recently this star kid gave an interview to Times of India, in which he talked about his upcoming project. Along with this, he also revealed the retirement plan of father Aamir Khan.

There was no plan for the debut film
Junaid Khan's next project is the film 'Pritam Pyare' being made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. However, he is associated with this film as a producer. Junaid said that he has been doing theatre since 2017. He used to go for auditions in between. But there was no plan for the debut film.

Why did he decide to become a producer
Junaid revealed why he chose to become a producer at the beginning of his career. Junaid told that he was behind the camera on the set of the film PK. Apart from this, he has been present on the sets of many other films. He has also helped in ad shoots. Junaid said, "After completing the shoot of the film Maharaj, we were working on a film in Aamir Khan Productions."
