Finally got the green signal from the censor board
After Tejas, Kangana Ranaut will soon be seen spreading the magic of her acting on the big screen once again. She has been in the headlines for a long time for her political drama film 'Emergency'. She is playing the role of India's first female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. The film was scheduled to release in theaters on September 6, but the Censor Board flatly refused to give it a certificate, calling the movie controversial.
When the film was not passed by the Censor Board for a long time, the co-producer of this film, Zee Entertainment, knocked the door of the Bombay High Court. Now after a long wait, finally Kangana Ranaut's Emergency has been given a certificate by the Censor Board.
Kangana Ranaut herself shared the happiness with the fans
The makers had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court saying that the Censor Board is not passing their film due to political reasons, after which the High Court also reprimanded the Censor Board and directed that it should give a certificate to this film as soon as possible. Now recently, as soon as the film got the certificate from the censor board, Kangana Ranaut immediately shared this happiness with her fans. Kangana Ranaut shared a post on her official X account and wrote, "I am very happy to tell you that our film 'Emergency' has got the certificate from the censor board. We will announce the release date of the film soon. Thank you very much for all your enthusiasm and support".
