On the occasion of 15th August, a mega clash was witnessed at the box office. Not one or two, but three films hit the theatres simultaneously. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao's 'Stree 2', Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda' have come together and made the box office atmosphere worth watching.

On one hand, Akshay Kumar has been looking for a hit film for a long time and he has a lot of expectations from this film. On the other hand, John Abraham is coming to the audience with Veda after a long time. But the biggest problem that has emerged for the films of both these stars is 'Stree 2'.

As soon as 'Stree 2' stepped into the theatres, people rushed to the theatres to see this witch. On the night of 14th August, the makers also held paid preview shows of this film, this move of the makers won the whole game.

In terms of first day earnings, 'Stree 2' left Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda' far behind. If we believe the report of Saccanilk, Shraddha Kapoor's 'Stree 2' has earned a brilliant 46 crores on the first day. On the other hand, if we add the earnings of paid preview shows, then this film has made a smashing opening of 54.35 crores.

'Veda' bowed down in front of 'Stree 2' and 'Khel Khel'

Now in the race of earning, Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda' are looking a little shaky. According to the report of SaccNilk, Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' has earned only 5 crores on the first day of its release. Talking about the budget, the makers have spent 100 crores to make this film.

At the same time, it is also being claimed that Akshay Kumar has charged 60 crores for Khel Khel Mein. Now the makers are also worried about the pace of earning of the film. However, Khel Khel Mein is getting a good response from the audience.

John Abraham outshone Akshay Kumar on the first day

On 15th August, John Abraham's 'Veda' has also hit the theatres. In terms of first day earnings, John has left Akshay's 'Khel Khel Mein' behind. If reports are to be believed, John Abraham's 'Veda' has collected 6.52 crores on the opening day. Nothing has been confirmed about the budget of this film yet.

If reports are to be believed, John has charged 20 crores for this film. If seen, Stree 2 is far ahead of Akshay and John's films in the race of earnings. In such a situation, now Akshay and John are competing with each other. Let's see who prevails over whom in the box office race.
