IndiGo's big announcement, more than 1000 women pilots will fly the company's planes
The aviation sector in India is continuously growing and in terms of domestic flyers, it has become one of the top countries in the world. In such a situation, the country's largest airline Indigo has made a big announcement.
The company is going to increase the number of its female pilots to more than 1,000 soon. It has made full preparations for this. This means that soon female pilots will start getting jobs on a large scale in Indigo.
IndiGo says that the reason behind this decision is the company's aim to make its workforce more diverse and inclusive. The company will increase the number of women pilots in its total workforce to more than 1,000 by next year. Currently, the company has about 800 women pilots.
The company's emphasis is on inclusivity
