Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has given a big gift to the farmers. The four big decisions of the CM have brought relief to the farmers. During the rally, he targeted the Congress fiercely. The Chief Minister said that by eliminating the role of middlemen in government jobs, 141000 youth have been given jobs on the basis of merit and transparency without any discrimination.
The Haryana government will now purchase 24 crops at the minimum support price (MSP). 14 crops are already being purchased at MSP and 10 new ones have been added. This announcement was made by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at the Vijay Shankhnaad rally held in Kurukshetra on Sunday.
Other major announcements were also made for farmers. The outstanding amount of Rs 133 crore 55 lakh 48 thousand of the previous Aabiyane (canal water fee) was waived. The compensation amount of Rs 137 crore for the damage to crops in the disaster before 2023 in Rohtak, Nuh, Fatehabad and Sirsa will be deposited in the accounts of the affected farmers in a week.
Transformer expenses will not be taken from farmers
Now farmers will be able to buy three-star motor from anywhere for new tubewell connection. Till now only 10 companies of three-star motor are registered in the state.
This will provide great relief to the farmers who have applied for new tubewell connection till 31 December 2023. Apart from this, the cost of transformer will not be taken from the farmer if the electricity transformer gets damaged.
Jobs to one and a half lakh youth
Along with appeasing the farmers through the rally, the CM made a sharp attack on the Congress. The Chief Minister said that 1,41,000 youths have been given jobs on the basis of merit and transparency without discrimination, eliminating the role of middlemen in government jobs. Along with this, a decision has been taken to recruit 40,000 more posts. Applications have been sought for many posts.
Provision of 10% reservation in government jobs
We have laid the foundation of developed Haryana in the last 10 years by eliminating fear, corruption, nepotism, regionalism in the state. He said that under the popular Agneepath scheme launched by the Central Government, the Haryana Government has made provision of 10 percent reservation in government jobs for Agniveers.
In these recruitments, candidates will be given relaxation of three additional years in the upper age limit. Along with this, Agniveers will be given a loan of Rs 5 lakh without interest to set up industries.
The rally was also addressed by Union Education Minister and Haryana BJP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-in-charge Biplab Deb and rally convenor Minister of State Subhash Sudha.
These 14 crops are already being purchased at MSP
In the state, wheat, rice, mustard, barley, gram, paddy, maize, millet, cotton, sunflower, moong, groundnut, tur and urad are already being purchased at the minimum support price.

The government will buy 24 crops instead of 14 at the minimum support price.

The compensation amount of Rs 137 crore will reach the accounts of farmers of Rohtak, Nuh, Fatehabad and Sirsa in a week.
All the companies manufacturing 3 star tubewell motors will now be on the panel of Haryana.

Government has abolished Abiana law
The government has abolished Abiana (fee on canal water) which was in practice since the British era, in February. The then Chief Minister Manohar Lal had announced this in the budget. This announcement has come into effect from April 1. Farmers of 4299 villages are benefiting from the closure of Abiana. Along with this, an annual relief of Rs 54 crore is also being given.
BKU calls it a victory
Bhartiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni) has expressed happiness over the government's crop MSP announcement. He said that this is the victory of BKU. BKU's national spokesperson Rakesh Bains said that he started the fight on this in 2009. He also went to the court in 2014. Now the government itself has accepted it as correct.
