What happened in the cabinet meeting in Haryana?

Haryana CM Saini announced the "Lado Laxmi Yojana" to give Rs 2100 per month to women. The cabinet meeting also approved the construction of an international market worth Rs 3050 crore in Ganaur. Licensed builders have been allowed to use revenue routes in infrastructure projects. Medical allowance for pensioners has been increased and relief has been given to the allottees of the Agricultural Marketing Board.
Many proposals including giving Rs 2100 per month to women were approved in the Haryana Cabinet meeting. After the cabinet meeting, CM Naib Saini told during the press conference that his government is soon going to start the Lado Laxmi Yojana. Under this scheme, women will get Rs 2100 per month every month. He said that this amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of women living below the poverty line in Haryana.
He said that his government is developing an international level market in Ganaur for farmers. Its construction will cost around Rs 3,050 crore. In this regard, approval was given to increase the guarantee of the state government for a loan of Rs 1,850 crore from NABARD. He said that this market will benefit farmers of Haryana as well as neighboring states and traders of Delhi.
He said that a policy was approved to give licensed builders the right to use revenue roads under infrastructure projects. This will help in developing various facilities like sewerage, water supply, power line, gas pipeline.
Increase in medical allowance of pensioners
He said that this policy will be applicable on revenue roads with a width of up to 6 karam (10 meters). Amendment has been approved in Haryana Legislative Assembly (Medical Facilities to Members) Rules, 1988. He said that under this, pensioners aged 61 to 70 years will be given medical allowance at the rate of Rs 5,000 per month. Pensioners above 70 years of age will also get medical allowance at the rate of Rs 10,000 per month.
In the meeting, it has been decided to give a big relief to the allottees of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. In cases where No Dues Certificate or Conveyance Deed has been done and the outstanding amount is visible in the PPM software, only the outstanding principal amount will be recovered from such allottees. Interest and penal interest were waived.
He said that the outstanding principal amount will have to be deposited within one month from the date of notification. The Marketing Board will be entitled to take appropriate action if the amount is not deposited within the stipulated time.
Haryana Assembly session from August 22
The CM said that in the meeting, Disputes Resolution-II was approved to settle the complaints of the allottees of Agro-Mall located in Panchkula. In case the allottees do not get possession within the stipulated time, compensation will be given at the rate of 7 percent annual interest on the amount paid.
He said that the amount payable from the date of providing possession till the receipt of actual payment will be calculated as per the provisions of the “Disputes Resolution-II” policy. Rules were approved to provide service security to contract employees under the Contractual Employees Service Assurance Act, 2024. The cabinet approved the proposal to start the Haryana Assembly session from August 22.
