Now there is no problem in calling assembly session
Before the assembly elections, the Naib government has once again come from minority to majority. The Naib government now has no problem in calling the assembly session. Independent MLA of Rania and Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala resigned from the post of MLA during the Lok Sabha elections itself, while independent MLA of Badshahpur Rakesh Daulatabad passed away.
The BJP government led by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, which was in minority since the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana, has again come into majority after the resignations of three MLAs.
After the resignations of Tosham MLA Kiran Chaudhary, who left Congress and joined BJP, and JJP MLA from Barwala Jogiram Sihag and JJP MLA from Narwana Ramniwas Surjakheda, there are 84 members left in the assembly.
The last session was called on March 13
Now the Naib government, which has touched the majority figure, will have no problem in calling the monsoon session of the assembly. The last session of the Haryana Assembly was called on March 13, when new Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini won the trust vote.
Badshahpur, Rania-Mulana already vacant
Independent MLA of Rania and Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala resigned from the post of MLA during the Lok Sabha elections, while independent MLA of Badshahpur Rakesh Daulatabad passed away. Similarly, Congress MLA from Mullana Varun Chaudhary resigned from the Assembly after winning the Lok Sabha elections.
Since then, all three seats in the Assembly are vacant. However, despite the resignations of Kiran Chaudhary, Jogiram Sihag and Ram Niwas Surjakheda being accepted, the Speaker of the Assembly has not yet declared these seats vacant.
