India's neighbouring country China is not stopping its activities and is not backing down from asserting its rights over parts of India. Once again China has done something audacious. A peak in Arunachal Pradesh was recently named after the sixth Dalai Lama, after which China got angry and once again reiterated its claim on this area.

Due to this, after the climb, NIMAS decided to name the peak after the sixth Dalai Lama Tsangyang Gyatso, who was born in Tawang in 1682. The peak was named after the sixth Dalai Lama as a tribute to him, and this decision was taken to remember his contribution. NIMAS is located in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh, which works under the Ministry of Defense. The peak has been named after the sixth Dalai Lama as a tribute to him.

A team of National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS) climbed a 20,942 feet high peak in Arunachal Pradesh which had not been climbed till date. On one hand, this peak had not been climbed even once, on the other hand, this peak had not been named till date.

After the peak in Arunachal Pradesh was named after the sixth Dalai Lama, Lin Jian, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of neighboring country China, said, "I do not know what you are talking about. He said, I must say that the area of Zangnan (India's Arunachal Pradesh, which China calls Zangnan) is Chinese territory and it is illegal and invalid for India to establish "Arunachal Pradesh" in Chinese territory.

China calls Arunachal Pradesh Zangnan, apart from this, China has been continuously changing the names of places in Arunachal Pradesh since the year 2017. India rejected China's claims over Arunachal Pradesh and said that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and naming it after China will not change this reality.
