Bank employee commits suicide; body found on railway track

A bank employee in Kurukshetra, Haryana, committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. The GRP recovered a suicide note near the body, naming those responsible for his death.
A case of suicide by a bank employee has been reported from Kurukshetra, Haryana. His body was found on the railway track. The GRP, who arrived at the scene, took possession of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination. A suicide note was also found near the deceased, in which he blamed his wife and brother-in-law for his death. The suicide note also contained a statement of 2.7 million rupees, which the deceased stated he would give to his parents.
On Wednesday, the body of bank employee Sandeep was found lying on the railway track between Shahabad and Mohri in Kurukshetra. Upon learning of the incident, the Shahabad station master arrived at the scene and immediately informed the GRP. When the GRP searched the body, they found a mobile phone and a suicide note written on a handkerchief. They then contacted Sandeep's uncle using his mobile phone, who informed him of the incident.

Upon learning of the incident, mourning descended upon Sandeep's family. Family members arrived at the scene weeping. The GRP took custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem. Sandeep had reportedly been missing since September 3rd. He left home claiming to be working at a bank, where he was on a contract basis. When Sandeep hadn't returned home two days later, his family reported him missing.
An ongoing dispute with his wife
According to reports, Sandeep and his wife, Amandeep Kaur, had been at odds for several months. Consequently, the wife had been living at her parents' home for a year. The family alleges that Sandeep had demanded 30 lakh rupees as a settlement. This had been a source of significant distress for Sandeep. A suicide note written on a handkerchief was recovered from Sandeep's possession, in which he blamed his wife and brother-in-law for his death. The letter also contained an account of 27 lakh rupees, which he promised to give to his parents.
