16 thousand NHA employees on indefinite strike, demanding cashless treatment and regularization
These days, the treatment of patients in government hospitals of Haryana is getting disrupted. Actually, about 16 thousand employees of National Health Mission (NHM) have gone on strike. Due to this, delivery and essential test services in hospitals are getting affected. The agitating employees are demanding cashless treatment and regularization.
The strike of about 16 thousand employees of National Health Mission (NHM) working in government hospitals of Haryana has disrupted the treatment of patients. Vaccination is not being done in hospitals and the delivery of pregnant women has been affected.
No work is being done on computers either. The facility of government ambulance is also not available to very serious patients. Patients are forced to run towards private medical services.
No cognizance taken on the strike of NHA employees
The Haryana government has not yet taken any cognizance of the strike of the National Health Mission (NHM) employees. When the government doctors in the state decided to go on strike, the Chief Principal Secretary to the CM Rajesh Khullar and Additional Principal Secretary Dr. Amit Agarwal accepted their demands after several rounds of meetings one after the other.
NHA employees on indefinite strike since July 26
The NHM employees who take care of the health of patients in government hospitals are on indefinite strike since July 26, but no one is ready to take care of them. These employees had two meetings with Aditya Dahiya, Project Director of NHM Haryana, but he has refused to solve the problem.
